Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly or that is generated when you use the Service:

Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, account ID, and sign-in details. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive the account information that Google makes available to us for authentication.
Tag requests and generation information, including the short text you enter, selected voice and effects, generation history for signed-in users, and the status of your Creator credits.
Purchase information, including the plan or credit pack selected, transaction status, amount, currency, and payment-provider identifiers. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Technical and usage information, including IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, and browser identifiers used to secure the Service, enforce free-generation limits, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Messages you send us, including support requests and any information you choose to include in them.

How We Use Information

We use this information to operate, secure, and improve BeatTagMaker. This includes authenticating accounts; generating requested tags; delivering downloads and saved history; processing purchases and credits; answering support requests; sending account, purchase, and service emails; enforcing our Terms; and detecting fraud, abuse, and technical problems.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, with your consent where required, and for our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it; this will not affect processing already completed.

AI Audio Processing

When you request a producer tag, the text you submit and the voice option you select are sent to our text-to-speech provider, ElevenLabs, to produce the requested audio. The generated preview is returned to your browser; BeatTagMaker does not ask you to upload a source recording to create a tag. Do not enter personal, confidential, unlawful, or third-party content unless you have the right to use it.

Our AI and infrastructure providers may process information on our behalf to supply the Service. Their handling of information is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Service Providers and Disclosures

We use service providers to run BeatTagMaker, including Cloudflare for hosting, security, storage, database, and related infrastructure; ElevenLabs for text-to-speech; Resend for transactional email and newsletters; Google for optional sign-in; and the payment provider shown at checkout (such as Stripe, Creem, or Waffo) to process payments. We may also use service providers for operational notifications and support.

We share information only as needed for these purposes, when you direct us to do so, to comply with law or a valid legal request, to protect the rights, safety, and security of BeatTagMaker and others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain sign-in sessions, secure the Service, remember necessary preferences, and prevent abuse. You can control cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

Retention and Security

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Account and purchase records may be retained after account closure where required for these purposes. You can delete saved files and request account deletion through the Service where available; some records may remain in backups or be retained as required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. When this occurs, we take steps designed to provide an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. To make a request, email support@beattagmaker.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in the email. We may still send you service, security, purchase, or account messages.
