The terms that govern use of BeatTagMaker and its producer-tag service

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BeatTagMaker at beattagmaker.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

BeatTagMaker lets you enter a short phrase, choose a voice and effects, and create a producer tag. Free use may include limited MP3 previews or downloads. You may purchase a selected Single Tag recording, or use paid Creator credits to generate or unlock a clean result. Each paid result includes MP3 and WAV files with commercial-use rights, as described at the time of purchase. Features, voice options, formats, limits, and availability may change over time.

The Service uses automated text-to-speech technology. Generated output can vary and may not be unique, error-free, or suitable for every use. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or publishing it.

Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use the Service where you live.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, a security risk, a breach of these Terms, or a legal requirement.

Your Text and Responsibilities

You keep ownership of the text you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process that text solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and consents needed to submit your text and use the resulting tag. Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, confidential, or harmful, or that impersonates a person or uses a name, trademark, or voice in a way that infringes rights or misleads others. Do not use the Service to create content that violates applicable law or another party's rights.

Generated Tags and License

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees:

  • Free MP3 output is provided for personal evaluation, testing, and non-commercial use only. It does not include a commercial-use license.
  • Clean MP3 and WAV output purchased as a Single Tag, generated with paid Creator credits, or unlocked with paid Creator credits includes a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to synchronize and use that specific final tag in your own musical works, beats, recordings, videos, performances, promotions, and other commercial projects. You may upload, lease, sell, monetize, and distribute those projects.

The commercial license does not transfer ownership of BeatTagMaker, its technology, voice library, trademarks, or any third-party provider's technology. You may not sell, sublicense, distribute, or make available a final tag as a standalone sound effect, sample-pack asset, voice model, or competing text-to-speech service. You may not claim that a voice is a real person, use a tag to mislead listeners about sponsorship or endorsement, or attempt to extract, copy, or recreate the underlying models or voice presets.

Because generated material may be similar to material created for other users, the license is non-exclusive. We do not guarantee that a tag is legally cleared for a particular use or that it will not resemble another work. You are responsible for obtaining any additional permissions your use requires.

Credits, Purchases, and Refunds

Creator credits are tied to the account that purchased them. Each new clean generation or selected-preview unlock uses the paid credits shown in the Service. Single Tag purchases unlock only the selected existing recording and do not add credits. Repeat downloads of an unlocked result use no additional credits. Buying credits does not replenish free trials or automatically license earlier free results. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash. Unless we state otherwise at purchase, Creator credits do not expire.

Payments are processed by the provider shown at checkout, and its terms may apply. You must provide accurate payment information and authorize the charge. All purchases are final once credits have been used to generate a final WAV, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If you believe there has been an error, contact support@beattagmaker.com with your order details. A refund may revoke unused credits and associated commercial-use rights to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the Service. In particular, you may not:

  • bypass usage limits, access controls, or payment requirements;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its providers;
  • use bots or other automated means to access the Service without our written permission;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain source code, models, or voice data except where law prohibits this restriction; or
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, documentation, and non-user content, is owned by BeatTagMaker or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not provide legal, copyright, or business advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeatTagMaker and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you have not made a payment. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Changes and Contact

We may update the Service and these Terms. Updated Terms take effect when posted unless a different effective date is stated. If you continue to use the Service after they take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
